MazeLog is a new Web site with original “logic mazes” — that is, mazes with some kind of tricky rule you need to follow. Sometimes the rule is as simple as following the direction of the arrow you’re standing on, or maybe you need to consider the ways various chess pieces can move. Calculation mazes require you to keep a running tally of the numbers you land on — it’s not enough to reach the finish line; you have to achieve a certain total as you do so. Once you’ve mastered enough of the mazes, move on to the monthly competition — solve a mighty tough maze and maybe win yourself a neat puzzly prize.
